A three-sided beam presents a bottom face and two side faces, with the open back set against the ceiling. Those three faces are all that show from below, so the beam reads as a solid timber member.
The Select Cypress texture carries the grain pattern across all three faces, giving the beam a consistent wood character whether it is viewed head on or along its length.
